My $0.02

Z-Tech Staffing believes in giving back to the community through our “My $0.02” program. We promise to donate no less than $0.02 of every dollar we make to a charity organization. We’re not going to play games by saying "every dollar of profit," or something like that. When we get a check from a client, 2% of that amount is set aside for a charitable donation. Donations are paid quarterly.

In June of 2010, we selected Portland YouthBuilders as our first 501(c)(3) non-profit partner.

Portland YouthBuilders provides educational, vocational, and leadership development programs for very low income youth. All of the young people they serve (ages 17-24) have dropped out of high school and have turned to PYB for a chance at creating a brighter, better future. PYB programs support youth who are trying to make a positive change in their lives.

At Portland YouthBuilders, students work on completing their high school education while learning a trade that can help them enter a high-paying career in either computer technology or construction. Whether building houses for low-income families or creating websites and videos for nonprofit organizations, all of PYB’s students learn the value and importance of hard work, caring for the community, and becoming positive leaders. The goal is to move these students out of poverty and into self-sufficiency.
